Biography
Julia McNeal is an American actress. Born on 16 April 1961 in Fort Lee, New Jersey, she graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1983 with a B.A. in Drama and Classics. She began her professional acting career in 1984.
She is credited as Pearl in Hal Hartley's The Unbelievable Truth (1990). Other film roles include Nancy in Shakedown (1988) and Sarah Willets in Flesh and Bone (1993), both under the name Julia Mueller. She has appeared in guest roles on Law & Order (1999) as Lisa Gibson and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2001) as Ann Brice, again credited as Mueller.
McNeal has worked in theatre in New York and Los Angeles, and since relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003 she has performed with companies including the Magic Theatre and Shotgun Players. She also works as a teacher, editor and coach.
