Biography
Juliana Barreto Barreto is a Colombian production designer based in the United States. She holds a BA in Design from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá and an MFA in Design for Stage and Film from NYU Tisch. She began her career in Colombia, working as a set and costume designer for theatre companies including Teatro Nacional and Teatro Colón, before moving into film.
Her production design credits include A Love Song (2022), A Perfect Day for Caribou (2022), All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt (2023), Earth Mama (2023) and Rebuilding (2025). Earlier art department roles encompass set decoration on Jungle (2017) and Elizabeth Harvest (2018), and assistant art director on the series Severance (2022). She is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829.
In 2023 she was named one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film.
