Biography
Julie Fournier is a Canadian actress. Born in 1982 in Québec, she grew up in Montréal and began modelling as a teenager before moving to France to pursue acting. She trained at the Atelier International de Théâtre Blanche Salant, the Atelier Damien Acoca and the Black Nexxus school in New York.
She made her screen debut in Jean-Pierre Mocky’s Tout est calme (2000) as Pauline. Subsequent film roles include Nathalie in Tanguy (2001), Lisa in Those Happy Days (2006), Emil’s wife in Mr. Bean’s Holiday (2007), Anna in Sarah’s Key (2010) and Florence Laplace in The Accusation (2021). On television she played Lieutenant Roxane Janin in the French series Section de recherches from 2014 to 2015.
