Biography
Juni Dahr is a Norwegian actress born on 29 June 1953 in Oslo. She trained at Statens Teaterhøgskole and was employed at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen from 1976 to 1988, where she took roles including Thea Elvsted in an adaptation of Hedda Gabler (1978) and Masja in Three Sisters (1982).
In 1988 she founded Visjoner Teater, through which she has created and performed one-woman shows and site-specific productions, often exploring historical and literary women, including adaptations of works by Ibsen, Undset and Hamsun. She has also appeared in several films and television productions.
Her screen credits include Stella Hvidtsteen in Blackout (1986), Woman in Park in Zero Kelvin (1995), Wenche Øymoen in Isle of Darkness (1997) and Margareta in Faithless (2000). She has written for some of her own stage and screen projects.
