Biography
Justin Johnson Cortez, also credited as Justin Johnson and Justin Michael Johnson, is an American actor. He is known for his starring role as Calian in the series Walker: Independence (2022–2023) and his recurring role as Detective David Luna in Walker (2023–2024). He appears as Kai Flores in the Netflix series Ransom Canyon (2025–).
A Santa Paula, California native of Yaqui Tribe descent, Cortez starred as Manny Donovan in the feature film Gift of Fear (2023). His performance earned a Best Lead Actor nomination at the Red Nation International Film Festival and a win at the American Indian Film Festival. He has also written and directed short films.
