Biography
Kane Kosugi is an American actor and martial artist. Born on 11 October 1974 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of martial arts film actor Sho Kosugi. He began his career as a child actor, appearing opposite his father in films including Revenge of the Ninja (1983).
Kosugi first gained recognition in Japan for his starring role as Jiraiya (Ninja Black) in the tokusatsu series Ninja Sentai Kakuranger (1994). He has appeared in more than 30 films and television series, including DOA: Dead or Alive (2006) as Ryu Hayabusa, Ninja: Shadow of a Tear (2013) as Nakabara, and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004) as Katsunori Kazama. He competed on multiple seasons of the obstacle course programme Sasuke, as the first American participant.
