Biography
Karen Elizabeth Austin was an actress credited on film and television as Karen Austin. She appeared as Mrs. Paterson in the 1987 film Housekeeping.
Austin earned a master's degree in dramatic literature from Northwestern University and performed at Canada's Stratford Festival in 1978 and 1979. Her credits include guest roles in series such as Night Court, Airwolf, MacGyver, The 4400, Masters of Horror and Caprica, as well as films including We're No Angels (1989), The Eye (2008) and Passengers (2008).
She was married to actor Mel Tuck and died on 2 April 2011.
