Biography
Karl Sodersten is an Australian film and television editor. He edited Ray Lawrence’s Lantana (2001), for which he received nominations for Best Editing from the Australian Film Institute and the Film Critics’ Circle of Australia.
He has been editing since the late 1970s, beginning with commercials before moving into television work for networks including the ABC, Channel 7 and SBS. In 1986 he founded his own company, Karl Marks Pty Ltd, specialising in commercials while also editing short films and music clips. His other feature film credit is Jindabyne (2006).
