Biography
Karsten Stöter is a German film producer. He co-founded the production company Rohfilm in 2005 with Benny Drechsel. The company produced 25 films before 2016, including Lore (2012), The Lunchbox (2013) and The Young Karl Marx (2017).
In 2016 Stöter established Rohfilm Factory in Berlin, focusing on international co-productions. His credits as producer or co-producer include Russian Ark (2002), 3 Days in Quiberon (2018), What Will People Say (2017), My Sweet Pepper Land (2014), War Sailor (2022/2023), Someday We'll Tell Each Other Everything (2023), Two to One (2024) and Rose (2026). He has received four wins and five nominations for his work.
