Biography
Kate Verghese is a British television writer and former producer. She began her career as a BBC Production Trainee and worked on the medical drama Holby City (1999–), where she served as story producer, story editor and researcher before writing episodes between 2014 and 2017. She also wrote an episode of Casualty in 2015.
Verghese was selected for the BBC TV Drama Writers’ Programme in 2017. She has written episodes of The Spanish Princess (2019–2020) and Industry (2020). She is developing original projects and has written episodes for the upcoming series I Am Not Alice Bell (also known as Hunting Alice Bell).
