Biography
Katheryn Winnick is a Canadian actress. Born in Toronto in 1977, she trained in martial arts from childhood, obtaining black belts in Taekwondo and karate, and studied kinesiology at York University before pursuing acting.
She is known for portraying Lagertha in the television series Vikings (2013–2020), in which she also directed one episode. Other credits include the films 50 First Dates (2004), Love & Other Drugs (2010), The Dark Tower (2017) and Polar (2019), and recurring roles in House (2004), Bones (2010–2011) and Big Sky (2020–2023).
