Biography
Kathleen Hale is an American writer and television screenwriter. Born in Wisconsin in 1986, she graduated from Harvard University in 2010. She has written the young adult novels No One Else Can Have You (2014) and Nothing Bad Is Going to Happen (2016), the essay collection Kathleen Hale Is a Crazy Stalker (2019), and the true crime book Slenderman (2022).
Hale has contributed as writer, story editor and co-producer to the Netflix series Outer Banks (2020–), writing several episodes and teleplays. She wrote a teleplay for the miniseries Devil in Ohio (2022). She lives in Los Angeles and is married to the writer Simon Rich.
