Biography
Katie Boyum is a cinematographer, camera operator, editor and director. She began working in film as a stunt performer and advanced through the camera department to become a Steadicam operator in 2003 on La Femme Musketeer. Her camera credits include Taken (2008) and other feature films and television series.
Boyum graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in film and a minor in studio art and photography. She co-founded the post-production company Quest Pacifica with editor Jeff Murphy and has directed an episode of the series Hawaii Five-0 (2020) as well as video games and other projects. She is a member of IATSE Local 600 and the Directors Guild of America.
