Biography
Katie Bryer is a British film editor specialising in drama and documentary. She is a BAFTA nominee and has edited feature films, shorts and series including Virunga (2014), SuperBob (2015), Maiden (2018), The Contestant (2023), The Lost Children (2024) and You Are Not Alone (2024).
She trained at the National Film and Television School and began her career working on student shorts, children’s television and BBC drama including Holby City. Bryer has collaborated frequently with director Orlando von Einsiedel. Virunga received Academy Award, BAFTA and Emmy nominations; Maiden was BAFTA and DGA nominated and longlisted for an Academy Award.
