Biography
Katie Ford is a screenwriter, television creator and producer. She began her career as a stand-up comic in Toronto and as a playwright in Toronto and Los Angeles. She wrote for the series Family Ties early in her career.
Ford co-wrote the screenplay for the film Miss Congeniality (2000). She contributed an episode to Desperate Housewives (2004) and served as consulting producer on the series. She wrote the teleplay for the television film Prayers for Bobby (2009) and co-created the Apple TV+ series High Desert (2023).
