Biography
Katie Krentz is a producer and studio executive. She is from La Porte, Indiana, attended Indiana University, and began her career at 20th Century Fox Television. There she worked on series including Family Guy, King of the Hill and Bob's Burgers, progressing from production assistant to executive roles.
She later served as senior director of development at Cartoon Network, where she developed animated series such as Steven Universe, Clarence, We Bare Bears and the Emmy-winning limited series Over the Garden Wall (2014). In 2018 she signed an overall deal with CBS Television Studios; her executive producer credits include Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020) and Star Trek: Prodigy (2021).
