Biography
Kees Coolen is a Dutch actor. He graduated from the Toneelacademie Maastricht in 1960 and was a member of the Haagse Comedie from 1960 to 1988, after which he worked as a freelance actor with companies including Het Zuidelijk Toneel, De Trust, the RO-theater, the Noord Nederlands Toneel, Theater van het Oosten and the Nationale Toneel.
His film roles include the Inspector in A Question of Silence (1982), Gerrit-Jan in The Assault (1986) and Uncle Jan in Vincent & Theo (1990). In 1992 he received the Arlecchino award for his stage performance in Goed/Fout.
