Biography
Keiko Green is a playwright and screenwriter. She holds a BFA from NYU Drama’s Experimental Theatre Wing and an MFA in playwriting from UC San Diego. Her plays include Exotic Deadly: Or the MSG Play, You Are Cordially Invited to the End of the World!, Empty Ride, The Bed Trick and Hells Canyon. They have been developed or produced by theatres including the Old Globe, South Coast Repertory, Seattle Shakespeare Company and Theater Mu. She has received awards including the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Play and the Gregory Award.
Green has worked in television as a staff writer on the 2024 series Interior Chinatown and as story editor and writer on the 2026 Apple TV+ series Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
