Biography
Keilani Elizabeth Rose is a Canadian actress, filmmaker, dancer and DJ. She is best known for playing Miigwan in the comedy series Shoresy (2022–), a spin-off of Letterkenny in which her character works as an assistant manager for the Sudbury Bulldogs hockey team. Born in 1991 or 1992 in Lheidli (Prince George, British Columbia), she belongs to the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation through her matrilineal lineage and has Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) heritage.
Rose made her film debut starring in and choreographing the short Within the Silence (2021), which won her Best Choreography at the World Film Festival in Cannes. She has appeared in series including SkyMed (2022) as Tyra, Lucifer and Once Upon a Time, and founded the production company Two Rivers & a Rose Filmworks to support Indigenous storytelling.
