Biography
Keith Emerson (1944–2016) was an English composer and keyboardist. He founded the progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer after earlier work with The Nice.
Emerson composed film scores including Inferno (1980), Nighthawks (1981), Murder-Rock: Dancing Death (1984), The Church (1989) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004). He also wrote theme music for the British television series Up the Elephant and Round the Castle.
He died on 10 March 2016 in Santa Monica, California.
