Biography
Keith Josef Adkins is an American playwright and screenwriter. He has written for television series including Outer Banks (2020), for which he received story and teleplay credits, The Good Fight (2017), P-Valley (2020) as executive story editor, and Accused (2023). His earlier television work includes episodes of Girlfriends (2002–2004).
Adkins is also a playwright whose works include The West End, which had its world premiere at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and was a finalist for the 2022 Steinberg-ATCA New Play Award, and Safe House. He is the artistic director of The New Black Fest and has received the Helen Merrill Playwriting Award and Samuel French’s Award for Impact and Activism in the Theater Community.
