Biography
Kelly Makin is a Canadian film and television director. He has directed episodes of series including Vikings (2013), Flashpoint (2008), Queer as Folk (2000) and The Kids in the Hall.
His feature film credits include Mickey Blue Eyes (1999), Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy (1996) and National Lampoon's Senior Trip (1995). In 2009 he won Gemini Awards for best direction in both a comedy programme or series (Less Than Kind) and a dramatic series (Flashpoint).
Makin has also directed episodes of Shadowhunters (2016), Frontier (2016), Murdoch Mysteries (2008), Rookie Blue (2010) and Private Eyes (2016).
