Biography
Ken Sauls is a cinematographer who has worked on adventure documentaries and television series filmed in remote and extreme locations. His credits include Sherpa (2015), The Wildest Dream (2010) and The Grand Rescue (2014).
Originally from the Chicago area, Sauls began with still photography before entering motion picture production in the 1990s. He has filmed on every continent and climbed and documented the highest peaks on each with The Heroes Project, including ascents of Everest in 2003 and 2006.
Sauls was one of three cinematographers on the documentary Sherpa and received an AACTA nomination for Best Cinematography in a Documentary.
