Biography
Kevin Etten is an American screenwriter and television producer. He began his career writing for The Late Show with David Letterman before working on series including Ed (2000) and Desperate Housewives (2004), where he served as a writer and later as a producer.
He has also been an executive producer on Workaholics (2011) and a writer and producer on Reaper (2007), Scrubs (2001) and Ghosted (2017). More recently, he co-wrote the film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022) and contributed screenplays to Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (2024) and Anaconda (2025).
Etten attended Harvard University, where he played ice hockey and edited The Harvard Lampoon. He received a Golden Globe for Desperate Housewives as part of the writing and producing team.
