Biography
Kevin Sargent is a British composer for film and television. He began his career as a drummer, percussionist and keyboardist with the band Thrashing Doves, recording three albums on A&M and Elektra Records and touring in the US and Europe before moving into composition.
His credits include the BBC series ShakespeaRe-Told (2005), Crush (2001), Ballet Shoes (2007), The Wrong Mans (2013) and The Hour. He received a BAFTA nomination for his work on series two of The Hour and an Ivor Novello Award nomination for A Waste of Shame: The Mystery of Shakespeare and His Sonnets (2005).
