Biography
Kim Byung-seo (김병서) is a South Korean cinematographer, director and screenwriter. He began his career in the camera department and worked as director of photography on films including Castaway on the Moon (2009), Cold Eyes (2013) and the Along with the Gods series (2017–2018).
He made his directorial debut with Cold Eyes (2013), on which he also served as cinematographer, and co-directed and co-wrote the disaster film Ashfall (2019) with Lee Hae-jun. He has received several nominations for his cinematography and directing work, including at the Blue Dragon Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards.
