Biography

Kim Hee-won is a South Korean actor and director. He trained at the Seoul Institute of the Arts in theatre and began appearing in supporting roles in films and television series from 2007.

He is known for his performances in The Man from Nowhere (2010) as Man-seok, My Way (2011) as Choon-bok, My Love from the Star (2013) as Park Byung-hee, Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), The Merciless (2017), Unlocked (2023) as Woo Ji-man, Moving (2023) as Choi Il-hwan, and Project Silence (2024) as Doctor Yang. He has also directed episodes of the series Light Shop (2024).

Kim won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 26th Buil Film Awards and the 4th Korean Film Producers Association Awards for The Merciless, and the Best Supporting Actor award at the Golden Cinematography Awards for Pawn (2020).
