Biography
Kim Mordaunt is an Australian director, writer and cinematographer. He graduated from the University of Technology Sydney and holds a diploma in acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He began in documentary filmmaking before moving into narrative features and television.
His feature debut The Rocket (2013), which he wrote and directed, won awards including Best First Feature at the Berlin International Film Festival and Best Narrative Feature at Tribeca. He has directed episodes of the series Wakefield (2021), Fires (2021) and Boy Swallows Universe (2024). His 2007 documentary Bomb Harvest received several Australian award nominations.
