Biography
Kitty Green is an Australian film director, screenwriter, editor and producer. She was born in Melbourne in 1984 and studied film and television at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Green began her career working in documentary production at ABC Australia before directing her first feature documentary, Ukraine Is Not a Brothel (2013). Subsequent documentaries include The Face of Ukraine: Casting Oksana Baiul (2015) and Casting JonBenet (2017). She wrote, directed, produced and edited the narrative feature The Assistant (2019).
Green directed and co-wrote the 2023 feature The Royal Hotel. She has also directed episodes of the series Servant.
