Biography
Kōji Endō is a Japanese composer. He is best known for his frequent collaborations with director Takashi Miike, beginning with the 1997 film Rainy Dog and including Audition (1999), Visitor Q (2001), 13 Assassins (2010), As the Gods Will (2014), Blade of the Immortal (2017) and First Love (2019).
Endō has composed scores for more than eighty films. In 2011 he received a nomination for Best Original Score at the Japanese Academy Awards for his work on 13 Assassins. He operates from his own studio, SoundKids, in Tokyo.
