Biography
Kourtney Kang is an American television writer, producer and director. She holds an MFA in playwriting from Carnegie Mellon University and began her career in development at NBC after working as an assistant on the short-lived series Daddio.
Kang joined How I Met Your Mother as a staff writer in 2005 and rose through the ranks to executive producer over its nine seasons. She later served as co-executive producer on Fresh Off the Boat and as executive producer and showrunner on Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.
