Biography
Kristy Cecil is a television producer and director. After graduating from Penn State University’s film school, she began her career as a producer’s assistant on the series Caroline in the City and progressed to associate producer on shows including Courting Alex (2006).
She joined The Big Bang Theory (2007) as associate producer on the unaired pilot and rose to co-producer and producer across its run, also directing two episodes. She later served as producer and co-executive producer, and directed episodes, on Bob Hearts Abishola (2019). Cecil produced, wrote and directed the short documentary Chasing (2013). She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on The Big Bang Theory.
