Biography
Kryštof Hádek is a Czech actor. He was born on 10 March 1982 in Prague, then in Czechoslovakia. He studied at the People's School of Art and the Prague Conservatory, from which he was expelled in his fourth year, and later attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for a year and a half.
Hádek's first major film role was as Sergeant Karel Vojtíšek in Dark Blue World (2001), for which he received a Czech Lion nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He won the Czech Lion for Best Actor for his leading role in 3 Seasons in Hell (2009). Other credits include Under the Skin (2014) and the series Raw. His elder brother Matěj Hádek is also an actor; the siblings appeared together in The Snake Brothers (2015), for which Kryštof won Best Actor at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
