Biography
Kunal Kapoor is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Hindi films. Born on 18 October 1977 in Mumbai, he began his career as an assistant director on the 2001 film Aks before training under theatre director Barry John and joining the Motley theatre group.
He made his acting debut in Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities (2004) and gained prominence with his role as Aslam Khan in Rang De Basanti (2006). Subsequent credits include Aaja Nachle (2007), Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), Don 2 (2011), Dear Zindagi (2016) and Gold (2018).
Kapoor is set to appear as Indra Dev in the 2026 film Ramayana. He married Naina Bachchan in 2015.
