Biography
Kunio Murai (村井國夫) is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on 20 September 1944 in Tianjin, China, and has been active since 1966.
He is known for film roles including Takeshi Shima in Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972) and Secretary Henmi in The Return of Godzilla (1984), as well as appearances in Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001) and the Tokyo Ghoul films (2017–2019) as Kuzen Yoshimura. Murai is the official Japanese dubbing voice for Harrison Ford.
His stage work includes productions such as Les Misérables and Kiss of the Spider Woman, for which he received the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival Award in 1992. He is married to actress Mikiko Otonashi.
