Biography
Kyōji Kokonoe, also credited under his real name Hiroo Hiratsuka, was a Japanese actor. He was born on 16 February 1910 in Nagasaki and died on 2 July 1985.
Kokonoe appeared as Teacher Ômiya in Nagisa Ōshima's In the Realm of the Senses (1976). His earlier career included work as an assistant director on Yasujirō Ozu films such as Tokyo no Onna and Hijōsen no Onna (both 1933). He later took roles in numerous pink films from the 1960s onwards and wrote on sexology.
