Biography
Kyra Schon is an American actor. She played Karen Cooper in George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968), alongside her father Karl Hardman, who portrayed Harry Cooper.
Born on 4 October 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Schon was nine during filming. She later appeared in Tortured Soul II: Ike and Mike (1994) and The Greenman (2011), and has taken part in stage adaptations and short films connected to the original horror classic.
Schon also works as an artist and teacher, producing handmade jewellery and pottery.
