Biography
Lara Harris is an American actress and model born in Chicago, Illinois. She studied French in Paris, where she began her career as a model, appearing in campaigns for brands including Armani and Revlon. She later studied at The New School in New York City before switching to acting.
Harris is known for film roles including Ann Varrick in No Man's Land (1987) and Sondra in The Fisher King (1991). Other credits include appearances in Demolition Man (1993) and television series such as Friends (1994) and ER (2000). She has also directed, written and produced films, winning Best Short Film at the 1997 Aspen Comedy Festival for 9 1/2 Minutes. In addition to acting, she has trained in psychology and works as a psychotherapist.
