Biography
Larry Brezner was an American film producer and talent manager. Born Lawrence Ira Brezner on 23 August 1942 in the Bronx, New York City, he studied psychology at the University of Bridgeport and St John's University. He taught at an elementary school in New York before entering entertainment, opening a nightclub in Manhattan in 1974 where he met producer Jack Rollins.
Brezner joined the Rollins and Joffe agency and later formed MBST Entertainment with partners. He managed comedians including Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Martin Short and Bette Midler. His producing credits include Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Good Morning, Vietnam (1987), The 'Burbs (1989), The Vanishing (1993), The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005), Ride Along (2014) and Ride Along 2 (2016).
Brezner died on 5 October 2015 in Duarte, California, from complications of leukaemia.
