Biography
Laura Michelle Kelly is an English actress and singer. Born on 4 March 1981 in Totton, Hampshire, she began her career in West End musicals.
She originated the role of Mary Poppins in the West End production of Mary Poppins, winning the 2005 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She later appeared as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies in Finding Neverland on Broadway.
Kelly made her feature film debut as Lucy Barker, also known as the Beggar Woman, in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). She has also appeared in the television film Agatha Christie's Marple: Nemesis (2007) as Verity Hunt.
