Biography
Laura Nisbet Peters is a television director. Raised in Hong Kong, she attended Hong Kong International School and graduated from Stanford University. She trained in the Directors Guild of America Assistant Directors Training Program and worked for many years as a DGA assistant director on feature films and television series.
She has directed episodes of The Fosters (2017–2018), Good Trouble (2019–2024), Sweet Magnolias (2020), Cruel Summer (2021–2023), Big Sky (2022) and Fire Country (2023). Earlier in her career she worked as a second assistant director on films including Congo (1995), Payback (1999) and The Million Dollar Hotel (2000).
