Biography
Lauren Hutton is an American model and actress. Born Mary Laurence Hutton in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1943, she studied at Tulane University before moving to New York to begin a modelling career.
She made her film debut in Paper Lion (1968) and later appeared in The Gambler (1974) and as Michelle Stratton in American Gigolo (1980). Hutton has also taken roles in films such as 54 (1998) and The Joneses (2010), and on television in Nip/Tuck (2003).
In modelling, she signed a major contract with Revlon in 1973 and has continued to work in the industry into later decades.
