Biography
Lauren Crace, also credited as Lauren Rose Crace, is an English actress. Born in Birmingham on 25 May 1986, she is the daughter of writer Jim Crace. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2008.
Crace is known for playing Danielle Jones in the BBC soap opera EastEnders (2008–2009). Her other television roles include Lucy in Sherlock (2010), Lindsey Moxham in Silk (2011), Beccy in Shameless (2012), Joan in the series Room at the Top (2012), Doris Millar in Mr Selfridge (2013–2015), and Ms Benson in Phoenix Rise (2023–). She won the Best Newcomer award at the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards in 2009 for her work in EastEnders. She has also presented on radio and appeared in stage productions.
