Biography
Lauren Whitney is a television producer and executive. She began her career as a television agent at the William Morris Agency and later at WME, where she represented writers and producers from 1998 and specialised in the development of intellectual property.
In 2015 she joined Legendary Entertainment as president of scripted television. She oversaw the development and production of series including Colony (USA Network), Love (Netflix), Carnival Row (Amazon) and The Looming Tower (Hulu, 2018), on which she is credited as producer. She subsequently served as president of television at Miramax from 2017 and at Spyglass Media Group from 2019.
