Biography
Laurent Bateau is a French actor. He began his career in theatre before appearing in the 1992 television series Goal. His first film role came in 1996 in Bertrand Tavernier's Capitaine Conan.
Bateau has appeared in numerous supporting roles in French cinema and television. He played Gardenborough in OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies (2006), a television producer in Hereafter (2010), Joseph Roulin in At Eternity's Gate (2018) and Guillaume in Emily in Paris (2020). From 2010 to 2012 he portrayed industrialist Albert Crémieux in the series Un village français.
