Biography
Laurie McCarthy is an American television writer and producer. She began her career as a writer on the soap opera Loving (1990–1995) before moving to primetime as a writer and story editor on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1996–2000), where she later served as co-producer and co-executive producer.
McCarthy has written episodes of Felicity (2001–2002), CSI: Miami (2002–2003) and Ghost Whisperer (2007–2010). She created the series Windfall (2006) and co-created Reign (2013–2017), serving as executive producer and showrunner on the latter.
