Biography

Leah Lewis is a Chinese-born American actress. She was born on 9 December 1996 in Shanghai and adopted from an orphanage there at the age of six months. She was raised in Windermere, Florida.

Lewis is known for her leading role as Ellie Chu in the 2020 Netflix film The Half of It and for portraying Georgia 'George' Fan in the CW series Nancy Drew (2019–2023). She provided the voice of Ember Lumen in the 2023 Pixar animated film Elemental and plays Sarah Franklin in the legal drama series Matlock (2024–present). Other credits include appearances in The Good Doctor, Station 19 and Charmed.
