Biography
Lee David Zlotoff is an American writer, producer and director. Born on 10 July 1954 in New York City, he graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and attended St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. He began his career writing for Hill Street Blues before working as a producer on Remington Steele.
Zlotoff created the television series MacGyver, which aired from 1985 to 1992. He later wrote and directed the feature film The Spitfire Grill (1996) and wrote two episodes of NCIS. He has also served as executive producer on the 2016 reboot of MacGyver and produced the series Snowy River: The McGregor Saga.
