Biography
Lee Ji-soo is a South Korean composer and music director. He contributed original music, including the theme 'Cries and Whispers', to the 2003 film Oldboy.
His other film scores include Leafie, a Hen Into the Wild (2011), Architecture 101 (2012), Unforgettable (2016), Bring Me Home (2019), Innocence (2020) and The Silent Sea (2021). He has also served as music director on projects such as Bargain (2022).
Lee studied composition at Seoul National University. His work on Oldboy earned a Best Music award at the Korea Film Awards in 2004, and his score for Architecture 101 received the Best Music award from the Korean Association of Film Critics in 2012.
