Biography

Lee Mack is an English comedian, actor and writer. He studied drama at Brunel University of London and began performing stand-up in the mid-1990s.

Mack appeared in the cast of the sketch series The Sketch Show (2001–2004). He created, co-writes and stars as the lead in the sitcom Not Going Out (2006–). Since 2007 he has been a regular team captain on the panel show Would I Lie to You?.

He has also presented The 1% Club (2022–) and appeared in series including Doctor Who (2005), Inside No. 9 (2014) and Brassic (2019). Mack has received BAFTA awards for his work on Would I Lie to You?.
